We’re celebrating the birth of a new little one in my family. William Francois was born this month. And it is the perfect occasion for a Little Sailor bubble. This is a variation of the AS&E 77 pattern in a striped cotton/linen blend with a pima broadcloth collar both by Fabric Finders Inc. and available at Blumenkinder Heirlooms. I love the feel of the cotton/linen blend.
The embroidery design was created by Hannah Perry. Hannah also knitted the little hat.
This pattern was originally made from a recycled or purchased man’s shirt. It has buttons on the back and on the crotch band.
